Sk Monoar Nahid, one of South Asia’s most influential creative minds in broadcast graphics and media innovation, has brought home yet another international honor. At the prestigious Asian Business Iconic Award 2025, held in Kathmandu, Nepal, Nahid was recognized for his groundbreaking contribution to “Creative Leadership in Broadcast and Visual Graphics.” This accolade not only celebrates his individual brilliance but also reaffirms Bangladesh’s growing impact in the global creative and media industry.
The ceremony took place on June 27, 2025, at the elegant Hotel Crystal Pashupati in the heart of Kathmandu. Organized by the Asian Business Partnership Summit, the event recognized outstanding professionals from across South Asia—including Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, and Pakistan—who have made remarkable contributions in their respective fields. Nahid’s award was personally presented by Nepal’s Minister of Forests and Environment, An Bahadur Shahi, a moment that highlighted the significance of his achievements and the reach of his creative influence beyond borders.
The grandeur of the event was amplified by the presence of notable dignitaries including former ministers, national policymakers, and high-ranking members of the Bagmati Province Assembly. Among them were RPP General Secretary Kanchan Chandra Bade, former Minister of Federal Affairs Kunti Kumari Shahi, former Minister of Culture and Tourism Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, and former Minister of Physical Infrastructure Krishna Lal Bhadel. Their attendance underscored the caliber of the award and the recognition Nahid has garnered on an international platform.
Sk Monoar Nahid’s journey is one of visionary leadership, relentless innovation, and a deep-rooted passion for storytelling through design. From his early days as a motion graphics designer in Dhaka to becoming the Founder and CEO of RudraFx—an internationally operating firm serving clients in the UAE, Portugal, and the USA—Nahid has consistently redefined the standards of television and digital graphics. His work seamlessly integrates real-time graphics, augmented reality, and automation, setting new benchmarks for live broadcast aesthetics and audience engagement.
This award from Kathmandu adds to Nahid’s already rich collection of accolades, which include recognition from the International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam by Adobe and Vizrt, the Golden Brick Award in Dubai, and national honors like the Sher-e-Bangla Star Award and the South Asia Cine Golden Star Award. Beyond the accolades, Nahid’s legacy is also defined by his contributions as an educator and mentor.
